디지털 기기의 사용자 경험에 관한 여러 이론들이 있다. 이 이론들의 가장 큰 공통점을 찾으라면 “인간의 상호작용을 따라하라”는 것이라고 말할 수 있다. 인공지능도 결국 인간의 사고체계, 의사결정 과정을 본 뜬 기계를 만들고자 하는 열망에서 시작된 것이다. 기기의 사용성, 인간에게 유용함을 제공하는 기기, 인간 중심의 시스템 설계는 결국 인간의 상호작용 방식을 중심으로 결정된다. 이러한 개념을 anthrophomorphism이라고 한다.
